Nice little camp. Shame about the bar man/ owner. No dogs allowed in bar which is fine. However as I was alone with a small dog, I carried it in to purchase a drink to sit outside after a long walk. Was told to leave very rudely by the owner, over a crowd of people. Totally unnecessary and embarrassing. Should be more friendly and understanding of solo travellers with dogs. Music very loud with all fire doors open. Not the place to go for a friendly, quiet break.
Nice stretch of river on site only trouble only two chub in river Charlie and Harry put a photo of Charlie on website will post a photo of Harry next time I catch him tight lines .ps give my regards to Charlie and Harry if you catch them. Stan and Lisa keep the vans lovely and clean .
Nice spot, was only there for a couple of days with dogs & kids. A nice short 10 minute walk into Scorton village. Nice people, a good on-site bar, clean & tidy & a nice little outdoor heated swimming pool, good portions of chips from the lovely people who work in the chippy, fish on Friday no pizza, pizza on Saturday no fish
We have family that have a caravan here and love going with the kids. The pub onsite is huge so problem getting a seat. They do not do dining as such; but there is an onsite chippy you can eat in the pub or takeaway. Cant wait for summer to use the outside swimming pool
Love visiting Six arches they have a lovely club on site and the staff are great in there
Absolutely love this caravan site. I use my aunties van. My kids have made friends on there.. we love the bingo and the lady behind the bar and love the orange juice she made us. She really is the heart and soul of the club! We want a van on six arches now !!

Happy memories of childhood holidays with grandparents, boys loved the swimming pool, you do have to book a session now with social distancing but heated and very clean, caravans are lovely and clean and close to everything, walk along river bank, nice walk to Scorton village for lunch or ice creams, good club onsite with bingo and entertainment, kids play area small but they use the whole site and lots of little friends for them to play with. Chippy on site but personally wouldn't recommend it, there is a place just before you turn into the site and its take away, better portions choice and ok priced. Overall we have had a great little holiday
