Lots of physical activities for kids, great play area. But can be very muddy! Lots of wildlife to spot - bring binoculars! Excellent quality food - limited choices but tasty & substantial portions. Perfect for families, but a bit pricey. Really friendly staff. Great little museum expo. Fun for all. Great day out if you like fresh air and water.

An amazing place. The visitors centre gives you all the information you need about how it was built. Lovely walks around the reserve. I went last summer and walked along the river. Lots of wildlife to see. And a great place for a picnic.

Good afternoon out particularly for younger children (but watch out for all the water). Cafe and shops on site. Large outdoor children's play area. Wheelchair and pram access to most areas. Payment machine was down when we visited so needed cash to pay for food. No ATM / cash machine.

Plenty to explore, very informative staff and volunteers gave a good insight to the work that has been carried out and future work ahead.cycle route passing through and good for walking Good for children, play area, unique visitor village with shop and restaurant built on a flood plain. Accessible for prams and wheelchairs. Offers a lot through school visits. Has a good events programme. We'll worth a visit

Fantastic site for spotting and learning about wildlife or just enjoying a walk. Great visitors area, activities for the kids and a lovely cafe and gift shop. The adventure play area and woods are brilliant too. A great morning or afternoon out any time of the year.
