We had a long weekend with our dogs, it was lovely. The vans are very clean and spacious, plenty to do on site with a restaurant, bar and swimming pool. We were happy with how dog friendly the place was too, lots of poo bins in clear locations, so no worries about having to carrying it around . The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful and it was only a 15 minute straight forward walk to the beach. I will definitely rebook a trip next year. Really made for a great weekend break.
Just back from staying 7 days, 2 adults and 2 kids aged 6 & 2. The caravan was perfect absolutely no complaints. The kids entertainment was great for them. Although the complex was small and most of the kids activities were at 9.30am far to early for my kids. We spent most days down at the beach anyway. Had a great holiday and would definitely go back
Back home now after spending 7 days at Regent Bay, 3 adults and 2 kids. The caravan was a great size, a lot bigger than I expected. We did have some dirty bed linen, but this was rectified right away by the super friendly staff. The kids entertainment was great and the swimming was a great laugh. Had a great time and would definitely go back next year.
Came for a week holiday with myself, wife and older children 15 and 19. Had a really good time and park is a good base for visiting around the area Lancaster, Lake District, Blackpool etc.. 10 minute walk to the beach, and plenty of buses if needed. The staff were always very friendly, especially Matthew C who took time to talk to guests when serving in both restaurant and showbar. The one time we ate in the restaurant the food was served within 10 minutes of ordering and was hot and very tasty. Ordering drinks and food was really easy using the app, and always arrived quickly. Evening entertainment was good with singers from the troopers team and also outside entertainment. The only area of complaint would be the lack of later food options. Despite offering a menu available 'till late', this turned out to be only 8.30 each night.
Had a lovely 3 week stay here in September. Park is in a good position. Caravan very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bus stop outside the park is great. We have been twice a year for the past couple of years and will definitely be back next year.
Lovely place to go but would strongly recommend not getting the club passes save some money! Show bar is WAY to small for the size of the park at most it accommodates 100 people max and way to loud could hear it outside! Food was amazing can't complain about the food! Swimming pool is small, perfect for a weekend break!
We was badly let down by staff at Regent Bay Park, Morecombe. We travelled on the record heat days in July we arrived at the van in the sweltering heat and put water and ices in the freezer a short while later we went to get the water to find the fridge freezer wasn't working, then we couldn't open the door fortunately one of our party could climb out the window. We noticed the stale smell and it was obvious it was the carpet that was filthy and even sticky. We got the reception but only security was there. He assured us they would be there at 9 am. No one turned up we rang the reception mid morning no answer we left a message. Another 2 hours passed we went again to the reception and nothing had been passed on. We again went through everything and also told them the path near the one door was flooding if you used the shower room sink. Again we was promised help. We came back from a day out the door was fixed but nothing else. Again we left a message and family got the manual so we could sort the digital fridge ourselves. I could write more but won't, the rest of the van was clean and nice but the customer service was shocking. A nice place if you have a van they have taken care of. God help if you get a bad one. Nice photos of the big sticky stains attached. We have sent a written complaint, am not holding any hope.
Picked this park as it has all the ammienities we wanted but on a smaller scale. So peaceful and friendly that we decided to buy our own caravan here. Nothing is too much trouble everywhere is clean and tidy. There is a real sense of pride from all of the staff. Playground: Not huge but lots for children to play o Restrooms: Clean and fresh everything we have used them. Dog-friendliness: I do t have a dog but lots of owners do and pets are welcome
When we arrived the caravan had not been cleaned we had paid an extra £50 for it to be ready for 1pm. We waited around till 1.15 pm. On entering the caravan the kitchen blind was dusty and stained with food. There was crumbs under the kitchen table. The cupboards where full of owners and private property so no room to put things.. the arcade and eating area / pub where dirty the ladies toilets had no paper towels and the door was jammed so you could not get near the hand dryer if it was working. The shop hardly had anything in it no bread no milk etc. The swimming pool was the only place witch was a good place to go. Supervision was good but no private changing rooms. And hardly any lockers working..
I have given this holiday one star because the caravan was clean and comfortable. However I am saddened and disappointed with the camp.. I have been unable to book any swimming l and when we went to look around the showers were dirty and had clumps ofhair up the wall. We went for a meal the table was very dirty a member of staff came to clean it after cleaning another table with a pint glass of dirty water and a steel scourer.when we mentioned the dirty water we were told it's not that bad!!!!!! The entertainment room is far too small for the amount of people on the camp the dance floor is as wide as a school corridor and we wouldn't hold a disco on a corridor for health and safety reasons. I certainly will never return to this camp and I definitely will never recommend it.
