A lovely monument in a really friendly, rustic town.
What a landmark! Be prepared for a steep walk up. Lovely views from the top. It will cost around 20 pounds for a family ticket but it is going to a worthy cause and up keep of the monument
A truly impressive gothic structure that reaches towards the heavens from the verdant well kept grass surrounding it. A lot of people were out here on the sunny day that we visited, but you spend most of your time looking up at the grand spires, so this isn't really an issue when there.
It's a good historic Monument right in the middle of the city. The Princess Park adds beauty to it. It is a tribute to the novelist and poet Sir Walter Scott. The tower is slightly higher than 200 feet and have viewing platform for the braver souls. The Waverly railway station is a mere stone's throw away.

Fantastic views over Edinburgh when open. Closed at the moment due to Covid 19. A must when it reopens..
Great place and super nice surrounding park and streets. Unfortunately we couldn’t go up as it was closed due to COVID-19 which is a shame as I can only imagine stunning views from there. Must see site whilst in Edinburgh!
A majestic looking gothic structure! Great place to sit in the park with a snack or 5! While taking in its amazing view! You can go inside for views from the top of it, it was closed today but I believe that is a thing I also think there is a fee but again I'm not sure as it was closed, still great to spend time outside
