The portraits in the museum are full of character and history, taking you on a illustrative journey through Scotland's rich history. I easily spent 3 hours browsing through all of the exhibits. A must-see for art and history enthusiasts!
A phenomenal experience. Everything was set up beautifully and they have a very good one way system in place. Unfortunately the library was closed however, everything else was great nonetheless

Great free gallery with excellent exhibits on three floors. Warm, well lit and with rooms decorated in vivid colours. It's its an excellent resource for all to enjoy and appreciate beautiful artworks. I particularly enjoyed the theming of each room to a variety of topics. Definitely worth visiting.
