Perfect place, the best tour I've ever done in my life, the castle is perfect, a lot of information from the history of Scotland, about all wars, it has weapons of the time, the castle is fully furnished, it has all the items of the time, perfect place .
A must for anyone visiting this fantastic city. We got here a little early but as it was quiet, the staff allowed us to go in and spend even longer walking through the history, viewing the military artifacts and absorbing the views of Edinburgh from the gun battery. I can't fault our visit despite the rain
It was a little wet n windy but that gave way to just grey skies after a time. Awesome views of the city and a lot of history in the Castle. Well worth the visit. I defo recommend the audio tour. Englush heritage membership saved me a few quid as well.
I got in for £1 Young Scot Card so I was pretty amazed at what was on offer. Truly a majestic castle, despite not being quite as large. Come around noon so as to not miss the 1’o clock cannon.
Beautiful and so many things to see and learn from Edinburgh's history. There's some amazing views of the city from the castle and I really enjoyed the cannon fire.
