Wonderful place for walks with the kids and the dog. Very picturesque with rolling hills, pools, bridges and rocky outcrops to climb. Not forgetting lots of sheep and horses roaming around. Large car park (National Trust pay and display) and plenty of places for a picnic. Nice cafe selling fab ice creams too.

A really nice place to relax. Website says no honest shop but one was there for us. Kindling, fire lighters, T lights. Games and books are free to borrow. Plenty of wood for either the hot tub or the stove. Would definitely go back, great place.

Beautiful place. Wear good walking boots as trails are stoney and rocky. The steam that runs the length of the valley is very popular with paddling kids and dogs, sheep every where so all dogs must be on lead, thankfully, as some paths are very steep and very narrow some with drops to one side. Sheep are very cheeky and will steal your picnic. Views are very pretty. Cafe is clean and staff very friendly. Good choice of food but very pricey and portions small. Toilets very clean.

Lots of parking. Very busy on a lively day but well worth it. Even if you stay within the Car Park and play in the streams or visit the cafe it's worth it. If you feel adventurous go for a walk, picking up a map from the visitor centre.

We had a great time camping in the area, it really was beautiful, specially being able to see so many stars at night as it's so rural. We also went into a little town called church Stretton which was full of nice little shops and places to eat. My only criticism is that you will need to get around by car as everything is spread out, but I think that's to be expected in the country side.
