The site is a sloping field that has the facilities at the top and is flattest at the bottom - so be prepared to have a walk if you want somewhere flat to pitch. The men's washrooms were relatively new, the ladies' seemed older - but there are good showers, soap, wall heaters and hand towels - nice touches. The Crown Inn is an easy stroll away.
