This is a must see place. Go to their website because it is only open at selected times of the year, snowdrops or bluebells and each time it's open it is for selected plants. The grounds are extensive, toilets are available and a cafe. Parking is plentiful.
Very interesting, the display of snow drops was just awesome. The grounds are kept in a wonderful condition and it was a pleasure to walk around and enjoy
I saw a lot of snowdrops. Personally, I'm only here for the cake. But cake and tea was cancelled and they didn't tell me until after taking my cash
Enjoyed my day with the snowdrops, but it's a shame it's not open more often!! nice cuppa in the hut at the top of the gardens . See you all next year! :~
Very nice when open for the NGS a nice walk for a couple of hours and the homemade lemonade was very good.
Nice place for a walk around but no idea if it was meant to be open. Lady from the garden next door said walk in, no mention that people are probably living in the house so felt uncomfortable going up too close. Also couldn't find the car park so just found the for the gardens and tea house next door.
Visited for the second time on Sunday 17 February 2019 .The gardens were open for a NGS snowdrop display with a large amount of snow drops by the lake and banks of them under the trees. The cost entry was £6 per person which seemed a little high but I suppose it was for charity !! The weather was very good and but the higher path through the woods was difficult for those who had walking difficulties. VisitedJune 2017 when the gardens were open as part of the NGS garden scheme. A surprisingly extensive parkland with numerous lakes, water features and garden landscapes. A long woodland walk through the trees behind the walled garden. Millichope Park is open three times during the year.
Lovely place to visit. Wild Goose Nursery is a lovely walled garden with some beautiful flowers and a fully restored green house.
fabulous ,really enjoyed visiting today, will call again.
Very rural, friendly atmosphere, dogs allowed on leads.
