There's ample parking which is near the visitors centre. The car park and paths are muddy on wet days so it's best to wear wellies in wet weather. Ideal place to walk dogs too. There are a few shops at the visitors centre where you can buy hot/cold refreshments. There's a lovely craft centre not far from here which is worth visiting too. Some very unique and interesting shops.

Great place to visit if you fancy a walk in the woods. The trails around here are very extensive and perfect for mountain bikes and dog walkers. Bring some wellies when it been raining they often get muddy! Lots of parking which i think is free most weekdays except during the school holidays. The visitor center is also free to look round and I found very it interesting.

The cafe sells good food (especially cake!) and its located in a great place to visit the Major Oak and go on general walks around Sherwood Forest. The shops sell some cool bits and bobs, and the Robin Hood gallery is pretty cool.

Nice family day out. There is a car park that's £3 (as of Feb 18) and a lovely cafe and gift shop on site. Best to get there for around 10 before it gets busy. Lots of interesting Info along the trails

Absolutely stunning and mystical, great history and well kept natural woods. I look forward to seeing it once they upgrade the visitor centre. I go maybe once a month to take in some fresh air and surround myself with tall oaks and birds tweeting.
