Had my first trek down here recently, this forest has some great mycelium networks, just look at this wild mushrooms do not eat these ones. Lovely nature walk.
Oh my gosh what a beautiful gem this is. When we finally found the entrance we went to the right park. I actually thought this was it but imagine my surprise when we saw the second side on the other side of Washdyke Ln. And boy oh boy am I glad we did. This whole place is just amazing. It's mostly fenced off so you can let your doggies off. Please be mindful that at the top next to the park there are ponies grazing so if your doggies are a bit too adventurous and curious you might want to keep them in a lead there. Alternatively just use the middle trails or walk along the stream. There are trails for all abilities, some flat some a bit on an incline. I cannot praise this place enough. I have taken a printscreen of where the entrance is as Google maps takes you to a farm and the postcode on the website takes you on the other side of A611.
A nice little walk, saw some beautiful mushrooms on our way round. Be careful of the mid, gets abit slippy!
Nice place in the woods. Perfect for dog-walking or for a hike. A bit of trash here and there. Bring a plastic bag. If everyone picks up something the place would be cleaner and more inviting.
Nice walk through the woods then across the fields to beauvale priory through the woods and down to moorgreen reservoir.
I'm struggling to give this park 1 star purely cause I wanted to take my dogs there but I couldn't find any entrance to get on the park. The satnav takes u to housing estate we drove around for ages but no luck.
Good for a dog walk. Nice mix of wooded and open areas with a stream. Easy access to the nearby footpaths across the fields which go for miles.
First time we have been . Bigger than l thought lots of lovely paths to walk and nice clean stream for your dog to have a paddle in.
Bit disappointed! Been a few years since we’ve been to Dob Park. I am afraid the dog walkers of Hucknall have let you down. So much festering and mouldy dog mess. Families with small children come to this park. Clean up after your dog and make it a cleaner, safer place to walk
Nice walk if it's not been raining as some paths get boggy
