Freshly cooked fish to order. Light crispy batter.  Fantastic taste, value and service. A great find. Can highly recommend this takeaway and cheerful staff.

Now called Seafare. Fish was ok, although swimming in oil. The chips were revolting. Never going there again.

Shepherds Place has not the same high standards that it had under the old owners. The portion sizes have gone down and the quality is not the same. If if these issues are resolved I can see this business suffering as a result.

The thing I don't like when it comes to chip shops. Is when there tight with their potatoes I mean the cost of a few potatoes isn't alot and I like to have a nice big plate full of the biggest freshly cooked succulent chips, I also ordered fish but it was very oily. If I had to pick though id buy chips here over the chip shop on the front of minehead near merlins amusements I can however recommend merlin his a great guy. And I love spending my £2.36p pennies in there. So yes if u could add a few extra potatoes to my order in future circumstances I'd be a happy manly man chow
