All staff was polite and very helpful tonight very chatty very helpful and made us feel very welcome. We are here for two days before going Butlins on the 23rd and it was really nice of them to chat to us. We had a meal deal for two days .from Steve and mazzoni and Lizzie
I was disappointed with the Brewers Fayre. We booked a meal deal through the Premier Inn, 2 cause meal & breakfast, how ever there was a additional charge for the mixed grill, which featured on the front of the meal deal leaflet, very misleading. The Brewers Fayre was under staffed, only 3 ladies on a Saturday night, it was very busy. My meal was barely warm but went cold very quickly when the staff they blocked opened the doors so the people could watch the fireworks, which made the restaurant feel very cold. The desert looked nice, but had very little taste.nI complained to Premier Inn who refunded part my payment.nnHere's a update on what happened.. 2 weeks went by & I had not received my part refund. I emailed Premier Inn customer service, but of course no reply has been sent.nI then had to stay at the Inn again 3 weeks after my complaint & I found out from Justin, the nice staff member who delt with my complaint that the Fayres manager Phillip had told him to not issue the refund. It appears he thinks this is all about the leaflet, no ots about the terrible customer service I received, its also that the customer service couldn't be bothered to contact me to discuss the issue. So I've got to wait even longer.nIt's very obvious that both Minehead Brewers Fayre & Premier Inn have no idea what good customer service means..
We had a fantastic Sunday Carvery here. The turkey was nice and thick and the beef was very tasty. Good selection on veg and sauces.
The service by young female waitress was excellent, as many small problems with our meals.nTwo of our orders had stuff left off or wrong IE wrong coleslaw as in pictures,,spose to be Korean coleslaw, just dry white cabbage. My daughters plate had none, and the brought out normal coleslaw. I had no sweet sour sauce on my plate. Garlic bread was burnt.nWhen the manager brought over an item he placed on the table, he didn't say a thing or sorry. Felt he was really rude in all these simple mistakes. Size my fries was smaller than kids' potion. Price is good if you get what you paid for. Food was getting cold by the time waitress gone and back to kitchen 5 times, in the end we said it doesn't matter.
The staff here work extremely hard and still have a smile on their face faces. We came in a busy half term and we knew it may take longer but food was great quality and we didn’t mind waiting longer as the customer service front of house were apologetic. Lovely service and food. Great start to our holiday thank you everyone including front of house and kitchen staff.
