Been a few times now and tried several things on the menu.nWe're yet to have a bad meal!nThe sunday carvery is top notch!nService is great and the staff very attentive and friendly.nnNegatives: It's not the cleanest place in the world, cobwebs and dust is plentiful and the new 'waterless' urinals in the Gents means you walk out with stnging eyes from the pungent aroma!
Our server Helen was amazing so thoughtful and caring seriously she was the only one on the floor giving everything she could to make us happy and the whole experience go with ease, she was so thoughtful. Absolutely the best!
Great little spot very near to Butlin’s if you want a good meal at decent prices. Went there all week instead of paying through the nose at Butlin’s itself. They were short staffed, but the staff there worked their butts off to ensure the best experience they could offer with good hot food. I can’t thank Charlotte & Jerry and the chefs enough for the efforts they made this week. The above mentioned definitely kept the boat afloat and deserve a pay rise!
We had breakfast here on my son’s 11th birthday a couple days ago and the member of staff who served us was just amazing. Her name is Helen and she was great from start to finish. She made us feel very welcome and answered any question we had. Definitely recommend this restaurant especially on a day that Helen is working.
For the price, the portion sizes were small and there was a lot missing from the menu. Drinks were reasonably priced but the food was lackluster.nnThe food came out quickly it was not very busy and the food quite simple and deep-fried but the fries on each dish were cold. The meals looked to be kid's portions.nnYou'd be better off going elsewhere, Wetherspoon or McDonald's I would suggest.
