No nonsense food. It does what it says on the menu. Even during the eat out scheme the staff were polite and food good. During the lock-down I've eaten at many eateries and I can confidently say this one rates very highly. Gave it 4 stars only my Mum gets 5 stars but she irons as well.
All the staff are really friendly, the food was amazing, a good atmosphere and over all really hygienic, would definitely recommend. Furthermore the front of house staff are helpful and polite, very impressed with my experience
Stopped off for a quick lunch and some games of pool on a Friday lunchtime with three colleagues. It wasn't very busy so bar service was prompt. The food came out quite spaced out considering we all ordered to the same table one after the other. I had the Steak on A Pie, very tasty and a generous portion.
Lovely staff, extremely quick service and food is top quality. If you’re struggling for a place in the car park, I’d be surprised. Separate areas of the pub for drink and food and the decor is good as well

My husband and I have just had breakfast. It was lovely, piping hot, and all the staff were really friendly. You track & trace and sanitise whilst there, which is good.
Very friendly and helpful staff very spaced out tables and cleanliness was excellent and plenty of choice on the menu highly recommend the wolds
Just been to the wilds for dinner 5 star rating from us food was amazzzzing didn’t have to wait long for our food nice friendly and polite staff can not fault it only one fault wished I lived nearer
