Fantastic place. Great layout with a large outside area. Castle Rock pub which means I can spend hours in here. 20-30 minute walk from the city centre but Trent Bridge boasts a number of pubs in the area. Contender for the best pub in the city.
Nice place great staff. We had a wedding there during the Covid pandemic so it was a little on the odd side. The food was lovely the bride looked wonderful. Beers were top notch. The new staff member was very helpful and clearly an asset to the team.
We were looking for a quiet beer late Friday afternoon in a pub by the river and thought the Embankment would fit the bill. Unfortunately it didn't - nowhere near the river and unpleasantly, even offensively, noisy : lots of loud swearing in the beer garden despite the presence of young children. Won't be going there again
Really appreciated the friendliness of the staff- the service from all the staff we dealt with was excellent. The food was v good too.
Too many choices on the menu! Everybody in our group had something different but everybody was pleased with their choice. Caesar salad looked amazing. We sat in the conservatory. It was a little cool in there. There was plenty of room for the baby in the pram.
Another perfect Sunday roast, Shereen and the team delivering fantastic service and food in difficult circumstances, support your local Castle Rock pub!
