First time we have visited for an evening out with friends. Not booked by ourselves so this great find was down to others local knowledge. It was busy so an indication of how good it is. It didn't disappoint, excellent food served quickly and delicious. Wide choice on the menu. Staff were good. Well worth a visit in the Bicester area.

Today me and my mate came for the first time as it looks nice from outside. However, we are not happy at all about the customer service provided here. The place looks lovely and food was delicious but the way they spoke to us wasn’t acceptable. I want to make them know, we know you were talking about us between the all the staff and laughing, we are not stupid! Also they were on their phones a lot. Even when another person came to their main door the main man, told him to get lost. The staff didn’t tell us about the kitchen shutting at 10pm when we first entered , they only mentioned it when we sat there for few mins looking at the menu but they were rude about it “kept asking you ready ready ready to order” … they were standing around staring at us then when my mate questioned out of curiosity it says something different on menu about when they shut and doesn’t say anything about shutting the kitchen at 10 from what I remember , the big man in the suit got snappy and rude towards him. He said about having to pay for electric etc costs a lot! But how is that the customers fault! when we were leaving he turns all the lights on.. Then makes a comment saying something about customers. My mate said; yes we are also customers no!? Thank you but will be never coming back again. I run Bicester Litter Pickers - Voluntary Group. Do a lot for our town and you treat us like that not on!!
Entertainment Michael Jacskon was fantastic. The set meal was £35 per head and it wasn't great! The vegetarian option particularly. Desserts were one plate for four people to share. Per person it was tiny. One..I don't want to share a dessert with three other people, it's weird and two, for £35 I expect my own! The rest was tasty but not good enough for the price.
Food was tasty, nice restaurant but the best thing here was Gathen the Michael Jackson tribute. His energy and voice was truly amazing. Will definitely come back especially if Gath is singing !Food: 4/5
Ordered for delivery tonight.. was told an hour on the phone and turned up in 10-15 mins. Took the food, then had a further knock trying to deliver something we hadn’t ordered. Food was warm at best. The chicken tikka aloo we ordered was flavourless normally one of our favourites tasted very bland.overall felt it was very expensive for quality of food.
What a disappointing night. Table booked for 7.30. Seated at 7.50, placed on the end of row right in the middle of the main aisle. No napkins, poppadoms and wine placed on table within 5mons of being seated, then ignored. At 8.15 I asked to order. When they finally came back to take the order after asking two different waiters at 8.40 I asked for the bill. Table near us said they had ordered food over an hour before and they were still waiting! I will never go back, and no point in booking as they will make you wait regardless. Wheelchair accessibility: As there was only 50cm between me and the aisle, it was hard enough for people to squeeze past. I was on the main route from bar to dining area
Been earing at Shakils since it opened and have never been disappointed, always 5 stars on every level. Also often have takeaway from here which is delivered to our door.Food: 5/5
I've had two takeaways from these guys in the last week. Both were absolutely exceptional. However, the second was that little bit more amazing. I did have to wait a long time because I don't live so close, That's to be expected. I had two different chicken dishes, one with spinach. Both were absolutely stunning. I had a stuffed naan bread that had the vegetables and potatoes in it, and again absolutely amazing! Top notch curry and will definitely go back for more.
If I haven't ordered the mix grill under eat out help out I would be crying my 16 pounds now. Tasty but small. My company ordered medium hot and it was sweet. They have changed it but still wasnt too happy. The service is impeccable I think I will give them another chance.
