Took an out of warranty item in for repair. The manufacturer offered no explanation for the failure and presented a large bill. Sevenoaks did the opposite, addressed the issue, made a significant cash gesture and undertook the repair themselves. Excellent approach to after sales for these "big ticket" items.

Went to purchase an advertised £179 amplifier and clearly stated it was for a budget set up and yet was shown a £699 product = poor sales technique. However my main annoyance here was that on 2 occasions he criticised his assistant. A manager criticising staff to customers is showing himself up as a poor manager/trainer. Bought my intended amp because of the offer but it wasn't an enjoyable purchase. Star for ex stock product.

Excellent customer service from the initial phone call (and call-back) to the resolving of an out-of-the-box issue with my Bluesound soundbar. Patient and thorough demonstration which was pre-booked, so no hassles, followed by friendly discussion around set-up choices. I will certainly be going back to see Karl for another demo when the Pulse Sub becomes available.

I have been buying my TVs and hifi from Sevenoaks since they moved from Leeds. Prices are OK and the service is great. Today - 9 months after a purchase I had a technical issue and Karl spent an hour with me in the shop patiently going through things and getting to understand the problem I had with a turntable. Even though the problem was difficult to diagnose he was very patient and helpful.
