Story

The Seven Wells was first opened in 2001 as a quality food house, built in the style of a 200 year old farmhouse. In 2010 we were refurbished to the Eating Inn brand offering superb value for money every day in very comfortable surroundings.

Delicious food! Tried the new menu today as not been for a while as we didn't like previous menu when it got changed last time but the honey Chicken burger was really good and lots of flavour. Presentation was a good too. I would like to see more baguettes for lunch menu maybe a lighter lunch menu and the pub classics needs a lasagne! I'm happy they have bought the breakfast back for the weekends
Absolutely fab! The Wells is a go to for us and never disappoints. We came in for the buy one get one free burger deal which is great value. Helena and Chelsea served us and were both really attentive and lovely. Jake on bar was great too - great pints! Thank you everyone!Food: 5/5
Nicely decorated and clean, good range on the menu and multiple drink options. Wouldn't recommend the food, fish was mostly batter and had to be replaced, fajitas were burnt, sauce was missing from burgers, and one of the starters was missed off. However the staff dealt with it really well.Food: 1/5
The location was full of diners. Was told that there was a 30 minute wait on food which was okay. The starter arrived after around 15 minutes, the chicken goujouns were slightly dry, but we ate them. The main course arrived after another 30 minutes or so, the plates had not been cleared from the starters, so we weren't impressed with that. The salmon we order 3 of them was very dry. 1 was literally crunchy, it was that dry. The other 2 were were not moist at all and were themselves slightly crunchy. My sister left over half of her salmon, and when they eventually came to clear the plates away, never asked how the meal was, or why there was 3/4 of a piece of salmon left!!!!!! I was seething, as it was a treat for a couple of family members! I have been to this eatery several times, and came back because the lunchtime salmon was amazing last time around. There was no courtesy visit from staff during any of the courses, as they were so busy. This visit was a real let down. I will not be recommending this location again. If they can't cope with the volume, then they need to cut down the food table availability. My sister went back to the bar for a second round of drinks, and even though there was no one else at the bar, 2 members of staff were chin-wagging at the other end and totally ignored her for over 3 minutes. Atrocious service. Won't be visiting again!!!! Update........... We are still in the pub 20 minutes after we finshed the food, and I have managed to catch 2 members of staffs eyes who were behind the bar. Both of them chose to ignore me. PURE RACISM!!!!!!!!! Further update....... Lowered to 1*! I approached the Manager who was the lady who saw me beckon her over. She admitted she saw me beckon her. Which meant that she deliberately ignored us. I was met with the excuse that she was on the phone to her Dr, as she had an issue. I did notice her on the phone, but that was prior to me beckoning her over. At the end of the day, we were still paying customers. She had looked over at me 3 times since that call and chose to ignore me. I pointed out that she was not the only member of staff to ignore me and the customer service was absolutely abysmal. I was met with an 'I don't really a hoot' attitude. At this point, I wasn't going to stay and argue, telling her that she could read my review online.
Went for food with the family and as soon as we set foot in the building it was such a positive atmosphere. Such kind and friendly staff. The staff wasted no time in getting our drinks order in and taking our food order. The food btw was amazing, nothing missing, all came out as described on the menu. Table cleared and dessert menus in no time, can’t really complain about that. Desserts were also top notch. Special shout out to the gm Sarah, who was supper friendly and made us feel like we was on some sort of customer journey. Overall the staff were amazing food and drinks was spot on. Would recommend. Will definitely be coming again.

Great food but what is particularly good is the great range of cask ales with regular guests. Mondays are a winner as there are certain discounted beers plus ytou can use your CAMRA discount-win win! Staff are always fab and the place has a lovely atmosphere. Go try it! Parking: Loads of parking on the pub carpark.
Please do not order chicken sharer. Food was good until we tasted chicken wings. Tastes like nothing but rock salt!! So I pay for the food only to be taken awayjust the wings part saying that that's how the food was received from the supplier. I would understand if the food flavour was different and that's how you served but just to serve something that taste's like pure salt and say that's what we serve is not acceptable!! Thank God, I don't have high BP!! Probably would have needed to take a pill right after, if I was. A blatant lie of offering something and we declinining !! No wonder we need cameras everywhere nowadays. There goes one more star.
Had a lovely lunch today. 2 platters and a mushroom starter were very tasty. Anna our server was friendly, polite and made sure we had everything we needed. Will be back again. Thank you. Parking: Good number of disabled parking spots.
Good fair meal. Nothing outstanding, but solid meal. Reasonable price, perhaps a little over for what you get. Burgers were enjoyable, double up was no brainer. Grilled chicken is a little dry and over cooked. The crispy chicken was extremely tasty, as were the chips. My wife enjoyed her steak.would eat there again.Food: 4/5
