Jim, the Landlord has perfected a range of curry dishes that surpass restaurant quality. I had Chicken Chasnie and could have eaten it until I dropped. Combine with a few top ales on tap and you have a great night ahead.Food: 5/5
Good space inside and out, plenty of seating and parking. Visited on a beer festival so it was packed, tho service outside festival beers was very friendly and efficient. Longer queues inside. Well have to revisit on a normal day.Service: 4/5
One of the best pubs in the village. Always friendly and welcoming and a good bunch of locals/drinkers whenever you go in. Glad to see it reopened after new owners and definitely part of the village community.Food: 5/5
Warm, cosy, inviting and relaxing, the Mason's Arms is the place to come to have a drink, chill out and enjoy yourself. They serve delicious food and offer a wide range of drinks, including a great selection of real ale. With the beamed ceilings and comfy chairs, and the welcoming, happy staff who always greet you with a smile, this is the place to come for a great time. The quizzes they do are loads of fun, too. Can't recommend the Mason's Arms enough. Brilliant!! Edit: If you park in the pub car park, ensure you input your car reg number into the console on the top bar as soon as you arrive to avoid being fined. Dietary restrictions: The Mason's Arms offer several savoury and sweet vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options on their main menu and often on the Specials' Board. Parking: Ensure you enter your vehicle registration number when you get inside.

As it says this is a friendly local village pub. Two small rooms and four cask ales, standard pub food menu but done to a far higher standard than usual - the over-used and inaccurate phrase “home-cooked” is a good description of what we had. Best pub meal I’ve had this year, and very welcome after an incredibly dispiriting experience up the road.
Myself and my partner visited here recently, while on a short break in Derby. We can highly recommend visiting this place for a drink and bite to eat. The food and service was exceptional. We tried the steak, which was cooked to perfection.Food: 5/5
Didn't eat but went for a few drinks with friends. A lovely atmosphere, cosy and welcoming with very friendly bar staff who can't do enough to help you. Also very cosy around Christmas time too. The landlord Jim is very professional, friendly and runs the pub well.
A pleasant, friendly & welcoming pub with a tasty menu & specials board offering good value. Nice atmosphere for relaxed eating & drinking. Special events on offer too. Friday night is Prosecco night with discount on a bottle. Definite place to return to. Vegan dishes also available. Vegetarian options: Vegetable chilli & curry. Parking: Various options
Always great food and we enjoy the Thursday quiz. We tried the Sunday music quiz too but no food served around that time. I tend to have pie of the day and chunky chips. Proper pie! Parking: Remember to put your registration number on the screens at the bar if using the car park behind the pub. Another free public car park next to the pub too.
