I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Sephora Stratford, which resulted in me missing my graduation ceremony. Here's what happened:nnI booked a 45-minute makeup appointment for 13:00 on the 18th of July, the day of my graduation. I arrived on time, only to find no one available to assist me. After some confusion and delays, a young, inexperienced makeup artist was assigned to me. She took an absurd amount of time to clean her brushes and gather products, making me wait unnecessarily. The service extended well beyond the scheduled time and lasted a ridiculous 2 hours and 45 minutes, resulting in a below-average makeup job. This caused me to miss my graduation ceremony at the Southbank Centre.nnWhen I complained to Sephora about this unacceptable service, they claimed I arrived at the store between 12:20-12:30, which is completely false. I provided them with evidence, including my Oyster card arrival time, photos of my makeup, and details of what I wore, yet they ignored all my evidence and essentially called me a liar.nnAdditionally, I sent images of the non-hygienic table setup and the products used. The makeup artist was using testers that were open for every customer, which is completely unacceptable and unhygienic.nnSephora's response was dismissive and lacked accountability. They have not addressed the severe emotional distress and financial loss caused by their substandard service. Despite my follow-up, they have ignored my concerns and provided no resolution.nnThis entire experience has shattered my trust in Sephora. I will never return as a customer and urge others to be cautious. Their handling of this situation was appalling, and their disregard for my evidence and subsequent silence is unacceptable.nnUPDATE:nDespite their latest polite response, after resubmitting all required proof, they have since become unresponsive and have failed to provide any compensation.nI strongly recommend avoiding any interaction, purchases, or communication with Sephora, especially the Stratford location.
I always dislike going to cosmetics stores as the staff usually look standoff-ish however Claudia definitely changed that perception.nnClaudia was approachable, friendly and knowledgeable about the products. Initially I was searching for a replacement foundation however I was so impressed by her customer service that I ended up booking a 30 minute make up session as well as purchasing a large range of products as well as joining the loyalty programme. I even got given a few samples!nnAlthough the store was busy, Claudia was attentive and informative regarding the product range and how to apply each one. If only all cosmetics staff were like Claudia!
I had an exceptional experience with Phoebe! She went above and beyond to ensure I got the right products. Not only did she take her time to understand my needs, but her knowledge of the products was impressive. It’s clear that she is passionate about what she does, and her dedication to providing top-notch customer service made all the difference. I truly appreciate her help and can't recommend her enough—she’s absolutely amazing! Thank you so much .

I actually kept thinking “wow we still got good sales and customer services in this time and age!” She was able to attend to all my skincare needs and questions. Took her time to explain the products and try a couple out on my skin in order to get perfect matches. Really glad to have been served by her and will strongly recommend. Thanks again!
Multiple people asked me if I need any help . They gave me great reccomendations and even let applied the makeup on my face to help me find my shade. The customer service was 10/10 the workers are extremely nice ! They had loads of products in stock to like the sol de janeiro , glow recipe and drunk elephant . I reccomend this sephora !!!!
