Sefton Park is a wonderful place to enjoy day out with family all year specially in summer time. It’s a beautiful and huge park with greenery and lots of trees and flowers during summer’s as the days are long, you can walk around and enjoy the nature at the fullest. Dog-friendliness: Dogs walks are allowed.
There is a many things to do! Absolutely delicious ice cream, tea, coffee food , playground, little waterfalls, a lots of birds , a lot of green space so you can choose between chilling on the grass or just walk and sit down on the bench. There is also palm house and absolutely stunning tropical plants ! I Love that park Playground: Playground I think is big enough but when is sunny day there is a lot of children. Restrooms: There is some restrooms , not all the time clean . I think because there is always a load of people Dog-friendliness: I saw a lot of people walk with their pupils playing or running around Picnic area: A lot of green space you can do a picnic or just chill out on the grass and read a bok !
Africa Oyè! Best 2 days event of the year. There were people from all ethnic background living together in peace, and harmony all in one space. No discrimination, no institutional racism, no immigration issues or political division. Great music, great food. This event should last for a week not 2 days. If this become everyday reality, the world will be a better place. Thank you Liverpool Great event
This park is by far one of my favourite parks in Liverpool. It offers a huge variety of different nature beauties , several species of trees and flowers, you can enjoy the daffodils in bloom during spring time everywhere across the park. There is a huge lake with many different bird types, from swans to Canadian geese. Couple other smaller lakes and streams are also dotted round. There are a couple of Cafes in the park and bathrooms are also available. Parking areas are free and spread around the outside of the whole park. People enjoy running inside the park, if they fancy a different level of challenge, or just around it, which I believe is around 3 mile. Is the home of the palm house, a beautiful reception facility That hosts parties, receptions and art fairs. Dog-friendliness: The park is dog friendly, and it's so big that you can walk for ages before you find another dog, if you want
We love taking the dog here for a walk!! It's such a lovely place, just like a smaller version of Central Park, New York. There are so many paths and walkways around the lakes and fields to explore, something different every visit There are a couple of cafes with toilets and food and drink at reasonable prices and a great bonus is free parking on the roadside all the way around the park. If you haven't visited yet then I would recommend you do Playground: Large enclosed playground for the kids Dog-friendliness: The main reason we and many others visit Picnic area: Lots and lots of open space to enjoy a picnic, but don't forget to pick up your rubbish and recycle it sensibly.
It is one of the most beautiful parks I found in Liverpool, located in the L8 area. In addition to enjoying a beautiful walk, we can also relax in one of the 3 cafes that we find in the garden or simply enjoy live music that we can find on some weekdays. I loved
It's definitely better than your average park. Large and beautiful with deferent vibes from calm to relaxing, buzzing almost any mood. Great for outdoor events, picnics, even for the kids playground. Of course, the day of the week and event at the time plays a big part. Venue to the popular African Oye yearly festival in June. It's definitely worth a checkout if you find yourself in Liverpool.
.The thousands of daffodils are beautiful at the moment. A wonderful place for everyone, beautiful lakes, streams with stepping stone crossings and waterfalls surrounded by trees and bushes, such a big park we didn't get round it all today, only there 2 hours. Could easily spend all day there. I hope to go inside the palm house but they don't allow dogs so I will have to go with someone so we can go in separately as Ted will be there, he loves sefton park. Playground: Good area for all ages Restrooms: Cafe and restrooms available Dog-friendliness: Popular with dogs with variety of woodland paths and wide open spaces Picnic area: Many throughout the park
Wow wow wow, just experienced a weekend of Africa Ayo in Liverpool. I have had so much fun and the atmosphere was amazing, the good and drinks selection was endless and I even got to see Julian Marley I might just be back next year
Fantastic day out for everyone from relaxing on the field's having small barbecue,s picnics bit of fishing,riding your bike or just walking ,there are toilets and cafes we had a great day out
