A lovely park with some beautiful views and a lake to enjoy watching the local wildlife.
Clear walkway and a small conservatory area for birds ,play ground and places to sit and chat.
If you like wildlife its a nice place to come and walk. You can sometimes see baby ducklings which is cute.
Beautiful and spiritual park. Can always find a quiet spot. Beautifully kept too and clean
This must be thee only park I have ever been too that you can either just sit near thee lake and relax or even go for a nice walk .its has a lot if children parks for thee kiddywinks and you can feed thee geese and ducks without worrying they will bite your hand off lol and because I suffer with anxiety it so helps relax my mind .
Whoever is responsible for that new bridge should be shot. It's horrific. Was it purchased cheaply from an old sixties housing estate? The concrete "installation" on the island is a crime against the City and the legacy of Joseph Paxton. Someone needs to be held accountable for this desecration of what should be a historic gem of a park in our city. No-one should be able to get away with this. I can't even imagine how anybody has been allowed to commit such atrocious wilful acts of vandalism. They should be made to pay for all necessary remedial measures and then spend their every remaining day in a dark hole.
Gorgeous smaller park . Lo lovely lake and wildlife and now has opened its tribute to Nelson Mandela . There are also keep fit installations .a children's park and football area .
Lovely old park, underused due to its proximity to Sefton Park Plenty of wildlife to sit and admire The walk round the lake is beautiful Undulating scenery, not just open green fields Tennis courts Children's playground Areas of the park left wild to help wildlife Parkrun....a free 6k run open to all takes place every Saturday at 9am here Charming park with something for everyone
Amazing park. Little mention for the tennis field there. It's free.
Nice park, quite clean, quieter than Sefton park, lovely lake to walk around full of wildlife . Playground: Kids playgrounds, though not looking their best these days Picnic area: Benches and lots of open area
