How nice to be able to review a pub! Not a gastro pub but a real pub, with real people in it! No need for a range rover here, nice welcome and a great traditional proper pub! Wish there were more like it

Absolutely disgusting service. I'm a 20 year old respectful young man and came here with 3 friends as this pub is local to me and I wanted to show them around fakenham and the area as they are looking to move up. We had been in there for a while just us 4 sitting down having a a drink at the bar not being loud nor being any different to anyone else in the pub as the reason we choose to go here is because it was a different atmosphere to a general pub people our age would go. At the bar I accidently spilt my drink which straight away I apologized and asked for a cloth to wipe it up which then the older lady serving then said ' yeah you look it ' after I had said sorry and I then sat there in shock as she went to get a cloth I then offered again to wipe it up and she told me ' i will be sorry ' my friends and I was in shock and she carried on talking to the locals no apology or anything. Me and my friends then left in absolute shock and was gobsmacked we didn't even have anything to say. There were witnesses to this and the locals were all sitting there as well. Absolutely disgusted by her actions and the rudeness. Will never be coming here again.
