Needed to deposit cions into my account. Quewed for over 20 mins with only 2 members of staff on at the counters. And some of the time just 1. I requested 3 times for some staff to come deal with it. It took 20 mins before another member of staff came. Some people have no choice but to come to santander during lunch breaks. This is due to the early closing of all santander branches, which is now 3pm, really inconvenient uphelpfull and frustrating. Thinking about changing to somewhere else.
I had to wait at the counter to be served 30 min and an operator done only one transaction. I had to authorised the second transaction with a branch manager and than wait to be served another hour! It is ridiculous! Do not sign with this branch!
After days of trawling multiple high street banks including other branches of Santander finally found a branch with excellent customer service skills and whose staff have the knowledge required for their job. They were able to explain exactly what I needed to know and saved me wasting countless hours of my time can't thank them enough for their help and kindness.
My enquiry wasn't fully solved , but the staff were helpful.
Large branch which is still open !, they prefer you to use the ATMs, but do still have counter service.
Long queue. 6 staff, but only 2 serving. Disappointing
Went in to open a new account for my kids. Got told that I didn't need to be in the branch and could do it all online. Queried it as that wasn't what I'd read. Drove home. Discovered that you cannot open online - has to be done in branch. Rung the support centre and had this confirmed. Now looking for another bank as this isn't great as first experience of customer service.
We went to this branch for a mortgage, my experience was absolutely outstanding with the mortgage adviser Kevin Lewis, he was very diligent and made the process seamless for us, which I am very grateful for ! Thank you!
Can't say much about the rest of the branch but Kevin Lewis in mortgage section is very helpful. I only used Santander because of him. Kevin is an asset to Santander.
The worst bank in Kingston Upon Thames. Slow service and always long queues and less staff. Every time I visit here something is not working. They need to upgrade their systems, hire more staff and have waiting time targets
