Sandycove Holiday Park

Great place to get away and relax! Very well kept and right down the road from Ballywalter.. a quaint little village with lots of character!

Good that all Touring pitches are 'super sites' but the caravan electricity supply is only 10 Amps and not user resettable. If you trip the electricity after 8PM you will have no power until the next morning. Modern caravans are rated at 16 Amps so it is very hard not to trip the supply with a family caravan.

Couldn't stay due to using my own van. A silly judgemental decision. After being told this we were then greeted by another member of staff who could barely look at us as he was on a power trip. Went down to head office where the person in charge could not issue a refund as they "could not authorise it" Phoned this morning to be told no refund will be given. I have travelled all over Europe in my van and only ever been treated like this at Sandycove. On the plus side, we drove down to another site that worked out to be nicer and more welcoming. I would advise driving on down that extra few mile.

You are better going to rosebank next to it as the park is nicer and site fees a lot cheaper

Set it beautiful surrounding's, great beaches, excellent staff always willing to help. Park is well maintained, love it here.
