Very good place to spend a day. Beautiful views and stunning scenery. We have been going here for years now and it's great to see the national trust spending money restoring it. You can also book a guided tour around this fantastic house. The grounds are beautiful. It has a very good cafe on site.

Amazing place looked after by amazing people. If you keep an eye out online for things like Teddy bears picnic or over public holidays it's extra special. There is a dog enclosure and also a great kids park in the woods worth a visit.

Visit this place often, its lovely all year round, gardens and grounds are lovely in the summer the house is really good all year round but so beautiful at Christmas. Staff are knowledgeable, it would be nice to here more about the history of the people who owned the house rather than the paintings and antiques, but that is just my preference. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Lovely place to visit, house tour interesting, nice walks around the lake and house gardens, beautiful trees and plants, especially colourful in Autumn, good day out and especially for the children to run free👫

Like a step back in time. Take the guided tour then explore the gardens on your own, this was really awesome. You'd lobe it especially if your a history lover.
