I miss hanging out at sandbar after classes for a pint or two and delicious pizzas. For students who haven't been yet... What are you doing?
Great service and amazing choice of beers. We enjoyed pizza from a menu packed with original and interesting choice, freshly made sourdough as good as anywhere else in Manchester! Great atmosphere too in this very quirky bar, full of history.
Great selection of beer and great food to.
Fantastic pizza in a rustic cosy setting. Lots of tasty options for non-drinkers which was very appreciated. Don't forget that they only take card payments and so won't accept cash.
Sandbar is a great cool little spot for lunch. Pizza was delish, but the little treat of a caramel with my latte made it!! Looking forward to coming in for a drink in the evening as some nice looking beers to sample too.
Lush staff, great choice of beers and really delicious pizza which is clearly a labour of love! We came at opening time and enjoyed it loads but i'm sure it's really fun later in the evening as it starts filling up. Would love to come back with a few friends. Wicked decor too, lots of curiosities and interesting mismatched furniture.
A good place for a drink

Favourite local pub! Pizza is unreal, better than at most restaurants which is impressive for such a place! I love coming here
Great selection of beers/ales, nice place to end a busy week. The cabinet of curiosity is a nice little feature! Could do with some comfier seats, but I guess it's all part of the charm.
