If you like Pie and Mash this is a good place to go. The staff are polite and helpful, the service is fast and the food was piping hot on arrival. Good flavour as expected and they also serve Prosecco so all in all a good experience and we would recommend. Please see my pictures.
Very good pie and mash. Pie had a good crust and plenty of minced beef filling, proper mash and tasty liquor ,add chilly vinegar and pepper.. lovely! Only criticism for me was the plastic cutlery and plate, but it is after all a communal eating area in a large shopping centre.
Best pie and mash, this place is a must to get good traditional flavours and a generous portion which will make you feel satisfied. There is also a pub attached to them now to make the experience even more special. Strongly recommend this place to anyone especially as it’s good value for money and the queues are managed extremely well at peak times.
Never had a Sainsy's Pie and Mash previously, normally G.Kelly, Roman Road when it was open. Very pleasantly surprised, tasted great.... although I've got a thing about ice cream scoop mash!..... should be scraped in my opinion. It still tasted good, just personal preference.
Lost my Pie and Mash Virginity here! The location makes for a soulless experience, but I enjoyed my Meat Pie and Root Pie Combo. . . with GRAVY. Being from down south I have not come across liquor before. Anyone who likes the taste of that is just weird.
Pie was practically raw and the "meat" was grey & tasteless. Everything was bland & tasteless not even the chilli vinegar could help it!! Been eating pie n mash since the age of 2, would never eat here again, absolutely awful!!!
Fantastic east end grub, traditional pie & mash. You can't beat hot tasty meat pies with mash & liquor. I would recommend trying it and you won't be disappointed.
Came here tonight with my kids and have to say the staff here are the most kindest people I've come across in a takeaway shop. Plus there pie and mash is top quality.
The staff here are the best in Lakeside They make you so welcome, they are friendly ,helpful and they are always happy The pie,mash and liquor were lovely and was piping hot The jellied eels were lovely and fresh Worth every penny would highly recommend
Gotta try this place, the pie n mash and eels here is great, Just a little bit pricey, but I suppose that covers the overheads The food is always piping hot, and the staff are really friendly. Don't change anything.
