The store has been changed to only have four tills with staff.nOn a typical Saturday morning these were not all open, queues at each till were excessive and the waiting time for assistance at self check out tills was several minutes. The store is completely under staffed and the customer experience manager absolutely complacent about the delays for customers.
Lovely helpful team and usual Sainsbugs range. Far too many self-service tills. They won't be singing their praises when there aren't many jobs left! Fine if you have one item but absolutely NOT more convenient for customers otherwise. It seems that the industry may have reached peak self service! Hopefully, more tills with real people on them again soon!
Plenty of staff on the shelf service, well stocked shelves and plenty of hand terminals for smart shop. It's a decent store, can't think of a reason to mark it down. Argos is open till 8pm and lots of choice with women's and kids clothes, greetings cards and kitchen utensils.
Great store, has a Argos within, friendly helpful staff, plenty of parking, cash point on the outside and nice selection of flowers as you enter
Did a click and collect at the store for the first time earlier and I assumed wrongly the pickup point was in-store, so here’s how it works in case anyone needs to know as it’s actually dead easy:nAt your collection time a Sainsbury’s marked delivery van parks towards the carpark entrance, marked out by some cones. Park up close by and let the driver know you’ve arrived. Then when it’s your turn the driver just confirms your name then brings crates of your ordered loose items to your car. You need your own bags to transfer into your boot. Then the crates go back to the van and that’s it.nIt only costs a bargain 50p extra for this service. Also the driver was really helpful and explained all about substitutions.
