If I could put more stars I would! Me and my partner have been in a few times now to look at buying fish we don’t know a huge amount about buying them and what they need and what fish go together well. Everytime we have been in we have spoken to Cliffy who has been absolutely amazing! He is extremely knowledgeable and so helpful with what we needed and he hasn’t rushed us even when we have been in 10 mins before they have closed I would highly recommend Cliffy if you are looking to buy fish or need help starting out!
I was pleasantly surprised, I'd always preferred to use small independent pet stores, but finding myself shopping in Portishead and having just got a new cat I popped in on the off chance. Well what lovely staff. A lovely gentleman and I use that term advisably gave me lots of litter tray advice looked interestedly at my photos of said cat and was generally really pleasant. The young lady on the till was so patient as I tried to down load the app and log in on my very basic phone also talking knowledgeably about animals in general. And Harry carried my large bag of litter to my car. What a lovely team.
Excellent service.nRecently my dog tore a nail off and and I went to Vets For Pets Portishead for advice because my own vet is quite far away. They couldn't have been more helpful even though I am not a client of theirs. The veterinary nurse sorted me out with bandages etc at a reasonable price and told me exactly how to put it on and for how long. Very kind and reassuring.
Victoria was absolutely amazing at helping us buy items we needed for ginuea pigs.nShe was very knowledgeable and showed the ginuea pigs to my 2 young boys and let them have a hold.nThis store was very well equipped. Parking on site.nTidy and clean store.nStaff members were all friendly and welcoming.
Great variety, competitive prices & helpful staff in the store & vets dept.
