I recently visited the Lidl store in Portishead and had a positive shopping experience. What stood out most was the economic options available at the store, making it an excellent choice for budget-conscious shoppers. Lidl consistently offers competitive prices on a wide range of products, from groceries to household items.nnOn the morning of October 13th at 8:51, my husband and I were in a hurry as we shopped before work. We had the pleasure of being assisted by a cashier who exemplified excellent customer service. She was not only kind and friendly but also remarkably efficient. Her professionalism made our shopping experience a breeze.nnOne aspect that has sometimes hindered our efficiency in the past was the occasional need to let others with a couple of items pass in front of us in the checkout line. This situation sometimes occurred because other shop assistants waited for us to finish unloading our cart. However, the cashier who assisted us on this particular day ensured there was no unnecessary waiting. This allowed us to continue with our two-person system, one unloading the cart, and the other packing, without any interruptions.nnOverall, Lidl in Portishead has consistently provided economic shopping options and, on this occasion, exceptional customer service. It's a store we'll continue to frequent.

Good place to buy your fruit & veg as always find it cheaper & love the wonky strawberries. Just make sure you check the dates. Best section of Lidl is the middle isle as you never know what you might find
Still not butchered like some of the other Lidl stores which have either been modernised or had their layouts ruined. The only bad bit is that they have replaced their nice blue baskets with huge grey trolly baskets. This is how Lidl should be except the new shopping baskets - recommend using a box like when they first opened, great non food items and if you are adventurous you can try their food items : car park can be a bit tricky, but that's all part of the Lidl adventure : love it.
Good store.nFree limited Parking onsite.nClean and tidy store with self-checkouts.nStaff were friendly when I spoke to them at the till area.nGood amount of products on sale and I picked up some good bargains.nA good sized store.
