Large store ... cafe ... good sized car park. When we were though they had checkouts closed but lots queuing. Could be a little more customer focused there.

Good supermarket, nice fresh bread and cakes. There is a clothing and home ware section, big car park, restaurant, petrol station and a pharmacy on site. Biggest supermarket locally but larger ones aren't too far away for more choice if you need it. Easy to get to from town or further afield.

Very big Sainsbury and is next door to Boots. Has Tu clothing, home and Garden, deli counter, petrol station, car wash, toilets and of course food and drink. Sadly branded goods are seriously over priced, to give you an example a bottle of 2 litre coke costs around £1 - 1.25 in other shops, here £1.75. 2 stars rewarded for corporate greed. Avoid unless you need the car wash as it is pretty good value for money.

The Ferndown store is not the best by some way. Stocktaking should be much better as there are often miscellaneous things missing for days or weeks! Staff generally ok but a few look disgruntled. Shelves are sometimes unkempt particularly at weekends. The management need to be more proactive in this respect and make more effort to improve the above matters.
