Such a lovely pub to pop into after a dog walk along the beach. Very welcoming, bowls of water for the pups and a delicious hot chocolate to warm up and a great under cover outside area. We had a beautiful slice of home made lemon cake with our hot choc, which we came back the next day and brought a whole one to take home. Lovely pub, very much recommend.
Brilliant friendly well presented. Good food choices some friends had bagets with mayonnaise, chicken, ham but I had 1 of the mains crispy sweet sour chicken with rice. Nicely made food at good price. Quite a varied long drinks menu, could be broken down into soft drinks types etc. Was lovely atmosphere by the sea sat out side with parasols.
Amazing views of Kessingland beach, myself , my wife and mother in law had our dinner here, its not the start of a joke, we all had fish and chips, generous sized fish and Chips, could have halved the amount of peas and there would have been plenty. Great looking traditional style pub, loved it, totally recommend enjoy.
Dog friendly pub on the beachfront. A lovely welcome! Good fresh food and a variety of Sussex ciders, real ages and even a Belgian beer. Wonderful!
We visited this pub in Kessingland last Sunday afternoon. There was some great live music, a good choice of ales, all in good condition, a nice warm pub on a cold afternoon, and a friendly welcoming vibe, what's not to like? Looking forward to visiting again.
Lovely little place with friendly landlords. Lovely well kept real ales and proper scrumpy. Pool table and dart board, live music and a rip roaring real fire. Just what you need after a brisk walk on the seafront.
It has a lovely friendly atmosphere . Great place for us wery sailors to chill out in a pub that still feels like a pub to me. Well recommend by me .
A proper pub, run by a fantastic landlord and his lovely wife. Always something going on, not least live music 3 or four days per week. Good food too.
Very friendly and amazing pub, so welcoming indeed! And have to disagree with the pub next door the Waterfront! Tried to visit,but were soooo unwelcoming! Said they were fully booked! So thankfully we went to the pub next door,the Sailors Arms. Your loss the Waterfront !!!!
This isn't just a magnificent find of a pub, it is "THE" place to unwind, enjoy home cooked food, taste terrific real ales and, being dog friendly, you can take your time to meet new friends after a stroll on the beach. Paul and Emma are great hosts and with live music at the weekends it has to be a family pub for everyone.nothing changes here it's as good as the first time, and as friendly as the first time
