Lovely staff & the best flat whites! We always receive such lovely, friendly service from the staff and there’s a different variety of sweet and savoury to choose from. Would highly recommend whether you are passing by for food or just a snack, or even takeaway.

Stayed here in the Crumpet room. Nice and spacious. Huge bathroom. Spotlessly clean and the bed is comfortable. Quiet. Value for money and the location is right in the heart of Rye highstreet. Wonderful aroma in the morning of bread being baked. The staff are young friendly and very helpful. Value for money. Would stay here again.

I have bought bread from the White House before which was delicious, but today I bought a slice of vanilla, chocolate and hazelnut cake from the bakery that cost me close to 5 pounds which was very disappointing. When I took it home, I found that it was actually inedible. Bone dry and stale. Very disappointing.
Very poor service. Rude staff with little attention for customer service. There are plenty of other places in Rye with far better service. It doesn't seem like they are there to serve people who might come again - they are here for tourists who won't come again.Food: 1/5
the man that runs / owns this place is so miserable. Many locals use it to buy their bread especially the sourdough. But lately the prices are going higher and the loaves getting smaller. All of that could be dealt with. but I'm sick of cutting into a loaf and finding big holes inside.Rooms: 3/5
Food and service was great! Staff were very helpful. Stayed overnight, the room was quirky. The only downside was the mattress wasn't good, sadly.Food: 5/5
The food is good, but if they are busy expect to be ignored while you wait at the entrance for seating. Staff are not bothered until you manage to get inside, which is rather disrespectful and annoying.
