It's okay for spare parts when you need them now - apart from that they charge as much as any bike shop in the City of London which I find quite abusiveknowing that outside the City you find shops that charge honest amount for any jobs. They won't change a broken cable unless you take the entire gears service for £20, last time I did a full service, one of my gear cable broke on the way back home and the following day for some reason there was another issue with the cassette - they did fix free of charge, but I am still challenging what they are doing as "Full service", I believe just tightening a few screws and putting some finger prints on the frame to make it look like they have touched the bike. I have had 2 wheels trued there and I have never seen one coming back properly trued, the first time the mechanics told me because the misalignment was too big, and the second time trying to make up some excuse to explain why it wasn't done properly didn't get a discount or anything though So for me it is convenient because it is next to my office, however, If I had the choice I would go somewhere else
the review suggesting the shop is shut is for an old bike shop that shut 6 years ago. The Bike Company, Staines is opposite Debenhams at the top of the high street, on Thames Street, and has been open since July 2011.
fantastic range of products and bike range never seen before ie whyte ect staff are excellent they have the customer care skills and the knowledge they make you feel welcome
