The Lebanese Restaurant in Sheffield you should not miss! What we've ordered: *Mixed grill lamb kafta, taouk, lahim meshoue and chicken kafta served with mixed salad, hummus, mutabbal, labneh and bulgur *Moussaka Et Batenjan aubergine with chickpeas, tomato paste, onions, fresh mint and garlic *Arabic Tea Review: We loved all the food, everything was really tasty and nicely cooked Reasonable prices & good portions Staff were super friendly Relaxed and intimate atmosphere Shisha area outside it was looking really good and we plan to return with friends They have a massive screen in the main room so it is also a good place to watch games. An absolute gem of a place with friendly staff and amazing Lebanese food and service. The tent outside is brilliant a real relaxing, chilled atmosphere. Tasty range of Shisha, baclava is a must and real authentic tea

My visit to the Royal Lounge Lebanese restaurant was a mixed experience. The building is an old pub. The interior is painted very darkly and the dining area is a large open space with a stage at one end, a huge sports screen above it and tables set out around the edges. We were seated on a table of four near the big screen showing cricket coverage. The orders were taken we all chose different dishes, one vegetarian. A salad with various humus arrived folowed by our main order. The starters had been omitted there were only two tables seated at this point, but the staff were unsure why and we did not get the starters. The food was however very nice, everyone enjoyed theirs, I had the the seared tuna with chips actually small roast potatoes which I preferred. Some of our party had Ice cream to finish which was fine. Overall I would like to try the food again, but they need to sort out the decore. Are they a sports bar or a restaurant? The interior needs some urgent design, it needs to reflect the country of the cuisine or take a modern approach. I have noticed they do on-line ordering, so that may account for the mix ups, but this needs addressing. My star count would be 2.5 as it is nearly OK but with a few tweeks could be a solid 3.5 to 4 stars.

Got stranded conveniently close to here after our tyre burst and these guys were super lovely. Have been before, but they were so kind yet again that I feel like I can't go without recommending them! The food and shisha are both great, but what really makes the place fantastic is the man who runs it! Thanks for being so great! :
Best restaurant I've been to in Sheffield. Every single item of food was 11/10, and you can tell how fresh everything is. The staff are lovely and the shisha lounge is extremely comfortable and has a great atmosphere
Me, my boyfriend, and best friend all came here on a Sunday night and it is now, by far, our favourite place to go. The food there is the best we’ve ever tasted. We had a sharing plater which had eight cold starters, four hot starters, a main course, and a desert. There wasn’t a single thing we didn’t like. There was also so much! We ended up taking some home with us. Everything was so cheap too, for how good it was and how much you get. We also used the shisha’s that they have. You can combine as many flavours as you like for no additional cost. You also get a separate mouth piece per person, which is great if you don’t like sharing. The staff were some of the most lovely people I’ve even met. I would definitely recommend this place. We are definitely going to be regulars :
We had a little party with group of friends and absolutely loved this place. Beautiful food, great atmosphere and staff so friendly and kind. Looked after us better than most places! I could not recommend it enough
Came here for food with my friend - it did not disappoint! I had the mixed grill and my friend had the salmon, all the food was cooked to absolute perfection and tasted delicious! Staff were friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back soon!
