My wife and I stopped off at the Howard while waiting for our train. The service was great and we really enjoyed the loaded fries. The ambience, seating and music was very enjoyable as well. Highly recommend and we'll definitely drop back in next time we're in Sheffield.Food: 5/5
Met with friends for lunch. Service charming and helpful, but the food a bit stodgy. We shared mozzarella bites and cauliflower wings, which were freshly cooked and light. I then had the chicken and mushroom pie; and 2 of my friend's had the cheese and leek pie. The pastry was rather wet and soft. But we all had a good timeFood: 3/5
Near the station with a 20 minte walk to Sheffield united. Full of away fans . Good selection of beers nicely laid out plenty of seats good decor. Fast service plenty of staff. Great place for a pre match drinkFood: 5/5
The. Woman serving behind with dark plaits in her hair the the bar has the. Personality of a dead fish Could turn milk sour. As for everything else. The place has a great atmosphere With good staff. It would be amazing
The Howard, is a great city centre pub, great choice of drinks and food. Extensive menu should keep everyone happy. Highly recommend this pub, Jo and Rob are the perfect hard working hosts.Food: 5/5
Nipped at 10.30pm on a Thursday night for a quick tipple while waiting for the train. It was quite quiet but comfortable. My cask ale pint was nice and cold and went down very well. My only critique if I had to choose was the two bar staff were miserable as sin. Barely got a grunt out of either of them when being served and not even so much as a grunt when I took my empty back to the bar and said good night.
Still as good a venue as when I walked in there 10 years ago new to the area. Didn't eat but a great place for a pint by train station, quick 2 min walkService: 5/5
Lovely pub! Good food and good service! Definitely value.for money.Food: 5/5
Lovely staff and service food Lovely had chicken burger nice hot and chips my husband had pie and chips love it people are very friendly bar
Cute place, lousy, expensive food. I ordered a cheese burger, but what I got was a bland, dry, inedible mess. I even questioned it. For £15 quid for a lunch, I don't know why ppl serve those prefabricated beef patties. The only reason I ate any of it was that I was hungry...I should have refused it when I saw the dry mess with nothing juicy on it. Yuck! And the place is so cute, I was all excited to come back. No wonder no one was eating!
