My friends and I go here quite often as it closes late and it's such a fantastic club. I can honestly say that Dempseys is a club where I genuinely feel safe, the bouncers/ security are always polite and helpful and do a really good job keeping people safe, if you have any issues they're always available to help. The bar staff and Djs are brilliant too! Really down to earth and will happily chat with you. They play a really diverse range of music and if they don't have a song that you've requested they'll download it for you. The drinks are well priced, and they have some interesting cocktails. Honestly, this is probably my favourite bar in Sheffield, it's a safe, fun environment that caters to people of different backgrounds etc. Love it.
I'm am totally at home ! I enjoy myself everytime and the staff phenomenal! Down side the drinks are bitter maybe the taps need cleaning out . On a whole Dempsey's is the place where you would want to be if you want to enjoy a carefree night.
Went here for the first time on Saturday, enjoyed the brief time here before having my drink spiked, actively unhelpful bouncers with no concern for safety or awareness that spiking takes place in clubs. If you do go here be careful with your drink and do not expect help from the staff, if something does happen as their only interest will be getting you out the door.
Just had all-day breakfast.how they can do it for £5. Well worth and more. rest of there menu is in a similar price bracket.also they have Thai menu..
We were treated horrifically by the doorstaff and owner, I was wearing comfy clothes and they berated me and laughed at me while I was crying begging them to let me in as all my friends were inside. I have never been so insulted before and no one should have to be treated like dirt the way I was. Vile staff, even worse management and definitely not a safe LGBTQ space. Avoid at all costs.
got called a slag by one of the bouncers and his mom came up to me saying my skirt was so short my arse was hanging out and all the men were looking at me, did i ask for your opinion? and since when couldn’t people where whatever they wanted? avoid at all costs, security are tramps
Good bar, friendly staff and lgbtq friendly its also good for nights out and pool and there cocktails are good too food is delicious aswell and homemade by top chefs
I give this bad review because I ve been kicked off because of a perssone Who pretend that his bouncer and the staff kicked me off without any proof that I have done something rong on the camera I dont advice this place at all
I’ve always loved coming here, but my last visit solidified it for me. My friend was having a rough night with the noise and she needed some ear plugs. Lyndsey and the rest of the security team literally went above and beyond to try and find some for her which they did, thank you again! which made my night as we were celebrating my birthday. Thank you thank you lovely humans!!!
Was back in my home town visiting from Manchester and took some friends over.. What a backwards place this is! Door staff wouldn’t let us in because we looked ‘too straight’ refused to check the system as I have been before. The female one was vile, shouting and swearing at us and quite frankly needs a attitude check! Then said they was radioing over to other venues to not allow us entry! My Manchester friends where actually shocked at the difference in treatment here and how clearly of a not inclusive to everyone place it is. None of us will ever be coming back!
