I cannot thank the staff on ward 3 enough for the standard of care I received for my broken jaw. You could see that all the staff cared about the patients they were treating and could not do enough for them. Staff held regular handover meetings that gave patients confidence in continuous quality care throughout their stay. In addition the surgeons who repaired my jaw were equally professional and have done a great job on my repair. I can’t believe how little damage they have done to my face performing such a complex procedure. Thank you I won’t forget this experience
DR WAQAS AHMED @ A&E provided outstanding care needs to the patient. Communicated to the patient in Urdu. Made quick decisions to examine, admit and cure the patient. It was in the best interest of the patient to be admitted & this DR did not put this patient at further harm. The reception team & remaining staff provided excellent care. This department provided quick and excellent performance in such busy environment
My Mum was admitted to Royal Preston last Tuesday. The paramedics and nurses from the stroke ward were amazing. The couple days that my Mum had to spend in recus were not the best, if I am honest. However, she was moved to Ward 21 and then to Ward 17. All Doctors and Nursing Staff were amazing and dealt with my mother with compassion, great care and dignity. I will be forever in your debt. A million thanks x
Just want to say a massive thankyou to all staff on ward 11, I had some major surgery and the level of care and professionalism I received was second to none. The only thing I didn't like was the food and the fact its so cold on the ward. I'm still giving a 5star review as the staff are all amazing
Five stars to the staff on ward 3 where I was so looked after with the best care provided by the nurses Charlotte and Sam . Also De Carpentier was a brilliant surgeon made me feel very relaxed. One star for booking services! My appointment letter stated My surgery was at Chorley hospital where I traveled too in the morning ! I even rang booking services and was told I was being impatient The ward was closed When in fact it was at Preston hospital. Nearly missed my procedure I have been waiting a year for. Luckily the sister on ward 3 was able to accommodate me and apologized on their behalf.
Thank you to everyone on Ward 3 on Saturday 4th February, I was in for sinus surgery and everyone made me feel comfortable and calm prior to and after the surgery. Thanks especially to Charlotte and Sam, who could not do enough for me or any of the other 3 guys in my waiting / recovery room. All of the staff were a credit to the hospital, thanks for making a potentially traumatic experience so much more relaxed.
This is about the referrals, I’ve had a pain in the back of my head constantly for a year, my doctor referred me to neurology for a scan, an urgent referral, I’ve not slept proper for a year I’m in constant pain I’ve started to lose memory something I’ve never had a problem with before this I’m suffering every day no painkiller will take the pain away, my referral was for April the 12th 2023 this year after months of hounding my doctor for a referral, it was cancelled by neurology they said it’s not an emergency!, fair enough that’s their opinion, to be given an appointment for 2024 absolutely disgusting, I’m a mother of 2 children if this is life threatening and I lose my opportunity to fight or repair this then you will be accountable and this is here forever to remind you. How you’ve done me wrong even worse my great grandfather Tom Benson made sure that the hospital was equipped with those machines just to think he walked all those miles for his great granddaughter to be refused medical treatment. Goes to show how cruel the world is and kindness is forgotten
I was admitted to the hospital against my will. No ,no, this sentence is not read like this, is read ,,THE MEDICAL TEAM FROM SAU WARD SAVED MY LIFE,, On the evening of Tuesday, October 18, 2022,10 pm, after 14 hours of waiting in EMERGENCIES in agony and pain, I was hospitalized, although I did not want to, in the SAU ward. I couldn't keep myself on my feet physically bad, but I insisted I wanted home. I thank them from the bottom of my heart to the medical team that evening that they had the professional tact of treating a patient against his will, they saw the seriousness of the disease and they acted calmly, with empathy, with compassion, but especially with professionalism. I don't know their names, I don't remember their faces because I was dizzy, between two worlds, I thought I was going to die from a point... but I know they have not stopped taking care of me continuously. 18, 19 and 20 October were days in blind for me, but which I will never forget, and a simple thank you is insufficient. With all my heart thank you all... Dr. Stefan Zaharia especially, God to bless you all... Medical acts, professionalism = 10 Salon facilities, room = 10 Overall cleaning = 10 Auxiliary attention paid = 10 Food = 10 Five stars and thank you ,thank you, thank you . Daniela
The reception at x-ray department. Some heavy guy is extremely rude . I've met him twice . I don't see why he is being paid to talk down to patients . We still all pay into the service. Whilst medics do a great job , these things need to be addressed for a better experience.
Excellent. Reception staff the lady on duty at 6am. found a wheelchair and went outside in pouring rain to bring me into a/e from my husbands car a true kind helpful person thankyou. C. Redhead
