Went on Easter Saturday as I had started to feel rough on the Thursday before with a very sore throat. Arrived just after opening at 8am with about a dozen people before me, spoke to a lovely receptionist who took all my details then asked me to wait in waiting area. I was triaged within 20 minutes and then called to see the nurse practitioner about 30 minutes later who confirmed tonsillitis and sent a prescription to my local chemist. Excellent service by really caring staff. Never once did they make me feel as though I should not have been there. Very grateful to them for looking after me so quickly.
I went into the walk in centre today, really nice staff there, very friendly and very professional. Although they couldn’t help with my situation, the nurses did everything they possibly could for me, put me in the right direction and gave me really good advice.
Attended on Bank Holiday Monday after an eye injury …. Seen very quickly and all staff lovely… Thanks to Georgia and Alan who treated menExcellent service
So grateful to walk in centre. Particular thanks to Lou Andrew’s who arranged for my seriously cut finger to be reviewed at Whiston Plastics within 24 hours. Exceptional service from everyone. Thank you.
Visited the walk in centre tonight around 5.30 was triaged quickly within 30 mins or so. Triage nurse was dismissive, rushing, and down right rude. I was trying to explain how long I’d had symptoms of water infection and she just rudely responded with I don’t need to know all that just give me a number?? Number of days I’ve had it. I will never visit again. The outcome was, I will have to go home contact 111 and then get an appointment to go back as they were too busy! Waste of time.Safe to say I won’t be going back! don’t know the name of the nurse but I will certainly be putting in a complaint.
