Always here as my asthma is quite bad and I have had previous injuries. Was here today and was sent home with no help for my asthma exacerbation by a nurse practitioner. I understand that if my chest sounds clear that it doesnt sound like an exacerbation but two hours later and I'm breathless although I have had well over the amount of rescue medication. Managed to get a telephone consultation with a weekend doctor and she was fantastic. Knew what I was on about and understood and listened to my concerns. I now have the go-ahead to take my emergency steroids and am much more calmer knowing I have someone who has told me I am bad enough to need them, and I am not just over exaggerating. Thank you to the lovely doctor that I spoke to on the phone just then.

Need 3 stitches in my elbow on a Saturday evening after falling off my mountain bike. Was in and it of the walk in within 30 minutes! Fantastic service and treatment.

I think this A&E Walk in Centre for adults with minor injuries is fantastic, been many times, always seen quickly unlike Southport where they leave you waiting for 5 to 6 hours in waiting room and another 3 hours when you get through the next part! Would always choose to go to Ormskirk, sometimes I have been called in to see the doctor within 10 mins, and never more than half hour! GREAT!!!
