It’s frustrating to see how stretched NHS emergency services have become. Waiting 4-6 hours, even for a baby in distress, raises serious concerns about what “emergency” really means in these situations.nnI arrived at the hospital around 6 AM because my daughter had been vomiting excessively—around 14-20 times within just three hours. Every time we tried to feed her milk, she would start vomiting again. Naturally, as a parent, I was deeply worried.nnHowever, despite it being an emergency, we had to wait for 5 hours to see a doctor. While I understand that hospitals are under pressure, the lack of urgency in situations like this is concerning. If there aren’t enough doctors or nurses, perhaps recruiting from abroad should be considered. The NHS staff on duty didn’t seem particularly attentive to the distress of patients and their families, which only added to the frustration.nnThe UK’s healthcare system is undeniably struggling, and experiences like this make it clear that improvements are urgently needed. Emergency care should truly mean immediate attention, especially for vulnerable patients like infants.
It's really well organised. I was there for the routine blood tests blood count+vitamins, in at 11:10, out at 11:18, everything went quickly and smoothly; all paperwork is done electronically, so there is no hassle.

They looked after my friend so well after an accident. The NHS are stretched to breaking point but the wonderful people who work in it really do their best. Facilities were clean and there were enough nurses, doctors and orderlies in the wards to provide a very high standard of care.
I had a hand surgery at the Royal Free Hospital in October 2023 and couldn’t be happier with the care. The staff were kind, professional, and reassuring throughout. The surgery went smoothly and recovery has been great. Thank you to the amazing team!
