In the 1990s the Royal College of Psychiatrists ran a marketing campaign called 'Defeat Depression'. The campaign, funded in part by the pharmaceutical industry, claimed that 'patients should be informed clearly when antidepressants are first prescribed that discontinuing treatment in due course will not be a problem.' This statement is untrue.
Attending 2 days conference. Went very well
I ran the tea room from 1995-2010. I loved my time here and found the staff excellent : I now run a fish and chip shop in Kent.
Attended for an external event. Very nice location and catering. Clean. Toilets nice but very small
shameless quango of protective charlatans who when presented with complaints just go "meh" we dont care....insightless, staffed by undiagnosed passive aggressive autists and approving of some of the worst medecine and science since the introduction of leeches.
Rcpsych home of all UK based psychiatrists liked it or not! This is now a really nice building with facilities for members to use which are truely great.
Toothless organisation who refuses to follow their own mission statement.
Lovely venue for conferences. Staff always helpful and friendly.
An elite gang the equivalent of modern Godfather. That isnt to say it isnt.
