During my visit to the London College of Communication at the University of the Arts London, I was captivated by the vibrant creative atmosphere that permeated the campus. The innovative design of the facilities, coupled with the diverse array of artwork on display, truly showcased the talent and passion of the students. Engaging with faculty members and students alike, I gained valuable insights into the rigorous academic programs and the collaborative spirit that defines the institution. Exploring the cutting-edge multimedia studios and attending a thought-provoking lecture left me inspired and eager to further explore the world of visual communication and design. My experience at the London College of Communication was enriching and unforgettable, solidifying my admiration for the institution and its commitment to fostering creativity and excellence in the arts.
STAY AWAY!! HORRIBLE!! If there was an option for 0 stars, I would have left 0 star as they do not deserve any stars. I would NEVER encourage anyone to study at London College of Communications. The experience there was less than adequate, it negatively impacted on someone that is very dear to me. Worst experience she ever had. The lecturers and some staff members she had there were the worst. Her whole experience there was life changing which seriously impacted on her health negatively............. Wish I could say more..... but I'll hold back. There are much better colleges/universities in the UK. HORRIBLE Institution!
Ok so like this sounds crazy but ngl i actually enjoy studying here, tutors are rlly nice and the course is pretty engaging. Been to a few workshops and the library and the staff there were really helpful too. Biggest issue ive had is the wifi not working on specifically my phone only tbh.
I studied here many years ago and at the time, it was known to be an extremely reputable university within the arts sector. I enjoyed the social aspects of university life and halls of residence, including the students union. The university spent some money on good quality equipment and facilities, however where they lacked was in their pastoral care. When I approached them in regards to a problematic situation with housing, and some learning impact, there was zero consideration or even desire to help.
after 3 years of graduating from this joke of an institution i gained some distance to the situation and am able to write a review. In the UK education is a business and this is a total waste of time and money. I am disappointed in myself to fall for this scam.
As a former grad, I would advise you to stay far away from this university. If you really intend on studying here; ask yourself if it would be worth paying £9,250+ a year in fees for a degree that has no value. If you somehow finish your course; you will either find yourself unemployed for years or working a minimum wage job whilst having thousands of £ in student loan debt to your name. Truth is, university isn't worth it these days; especially as most courses are a joke. Take a gap year, go to work and skip university altogether.
Decent experience overall, I haven’t studied at this college but have been there a number of times and used their library. Staff are really nice and helpful, Wi-Fi can be slow and during covid there were issues with teacher student communication but after covid it’s back to normal.
Amazing tutors. Nearly everyone above them however shows no care for staff or pupils. Doesn’t feel like a place of education it feels like a factory and a money making opportunity. And not for you for them. Only two plus sides is the cafe food which either is super cheap or majorly overpriced. Huge thank you to my tutors however as they have managed to make a degree in covid so much better. <3
I study BA Graphic and Media Design here. My course is very historical and excellent program at least that's what the college says. But throughout the first year, the course is very boring and basic, a large number of students enter the program from the foundation year but their professional skills still weak. I have tried to transfer to other ual college or programs but the course leader keep rejecting me with different reasons, and the college has no department to manage these things, no one really cares about your study experience, I can't just drop out either, it's too costly for international students, both in terms of the money I pay and the effort. Considering that I have to pay 23k per year for an international fee this feeling is too bad. My most teachers are great, they are always to help me but as other reviewers have said “when it comes to significant decisions. their hands are tied.” I can't say it's a good college to be, at least for me the whole college and course is boring.
If I could, I'd give it zero stars. I won't be coming back.
