Unbelievably bad service. I came out to the driver to explain my wife was slowly coming down the stairs and I had to get our bags... Less than one minute later we arrive outside and the driver had driven off - we had a flight to catch. Then the chap in the office statess getting aggressive over the phone when all I wanted to do was get a replacement asap and understand why we had just been abandoned. We'll go elsewhere next time.

Been using these guys for 15 years and sadly their service is getting worse and worse. Used them yesterday afternoon. The driver sat in his seat whilst me and my disabled mother loaded the boot, got charged an extra £5 because 4 bags had to go on the back seats. We had tried to book 2 separate taxis and then a people carrier but because of the weather we knew that we would have to wait longer then the 1 hour wait it already was. So this extra charge was sprung on us with no prior warning. The driver didn't speak to us, watched me unload my mother's stuff from his car and then watched me unload mine. The trip should've cost £9.50. With the extra £2 for bad weather and £5 for 4 bags to sit on the back seat it came to £16.50. No help or customer service whatsoever. For a company that is supposedly specialising in providing a service, we got nothing. I honestly think some of the drivers forget that we are paying them for this service, not paying them to just drive around in a shiny nice car. It's a shame as some of the drivers are friendly and really helpful esp with my mother. But the rudeness seems to be getting worse and some of the drivers act as though we are such an irritation to them. This driver was awful. No customer service skills or thought for someone who is disabled and has been using the service alot longer than hes been driving. I can honestly say I personally will never use them again and I won't bother to recommend them, not after yesterday. The company needs to put more money into training and less into the showroom floor cars. However, I've given them 2 stars simply because some of the drivers are good with my mum and friendly towards me. Some. Others, not so much. Its a real shame as they used to be brilliant.

I Don't have a choice but to use this taxi company. As they take my son to and from school. When you phone them to tell them information they have no idea. My son's taxi driver is good. But I would never use this company.

Outstanding, caring service for a wheelchair user. I used Royal Cars for a year as i returned to work. Arrangements were sometimes complex, but the team at Royal always responded quickly and effectively. And I always felt completely safe - vital for someone who feels pretty vulnerable. I liked that i usually had the same drivers, who quickly became friends. Their service was always courteous, sensitive and kind. And they often went above and beyond the call of duty to help me out. I'm now driving an adapted car, but i will always need taxis and i will always use Royal.
