Were 25 minutes late, made us late for a train to the airport, potentially making us late for a flight which flies once a day to the US. Blamed me for not booking 30 minutes ahead, while I booked 25 minutes before pick up time. I was told I should've called rather than book online, but they did not pick up the first 4 times I called to follow up on my online booking... In my follow up calls to enquire about status of taxi, I was told twice that the taxi would be there 'in 8 minutes', while subsequent calls revealed no taxi had been assigned for our booking. I am appalled by the poor taxi service in Oxford, generally, but this has been the worst experience so far. If you can, WALK!

When I called them they told me that the taxi will arrive in 10 minutes. After 20 minutes I called the m to see where my taxi was and they told me it will be there in 2 minutes. After 30 minutes they told me the taxi would come in 4 minutes. The taxi arrived after almost 40 minutes. The guy in the call centre had no idea what was going on and was very chilled. I received no apologies. The taxi driver didn't use the machine to charge me he just told me a price that he made up out of his mind. Really really disappointed, they are so unprofessional!!!

I booked a taxi for 5am the next day. The phone operator was courteous, and a series of text messages and a call informed me of the progress of the car the next morning, which arrived promptly. The driver got out to open the door for my wife. The service was provided by Royal Cars despite booking with Oxford Cars. I presume they are the same company, or otherwise perhaps they share bookings.

Avoid this company at all costs It was my first visit to Oxford to attend a course and I called this company for a taxi. Driver took me to a completely wrong address. Despite the fact that the sign on the address Was completely different from where I wanted to go the driver insisted that was the right address! Awful service
