Quirky local cinema that everyone should support. Big screen & great views from all seats. They always have an interval to sell icecream etc - perfect for a toilet break! Reasonable price for films & snacks/drinks. Staff are super friendly & not shy.

Classic cinema experience. Prices for movies and snacks are very competitive although only cash is accepted. The art deco theatre is lovely and provides a more traditional movie viewing, with an intermission which is most welcome during longer films. Picture and sound are not quite as good as the big 4k/Dolby cinemas but this does not diminish the experience at all. With only one screen the choice and times of movies can be a bit restrictive but that is to be expected in a small local cinema. Overall, the Roxy is a local gem full of character, with friendly staff and and an atmosphere which captures the spirit of a true movie theatre.

Not the most modern cinema but a good night out. Could be warmer.

Love this trip down memory lane. This is how cimemas should be. I could say it needs a wee update but that would spoil the experience. They always have a good range of films and TBH the interval that has disappeared from the cinema experience is always so very welcome!

I love the 'old world' experience, with friendly staff, everything reasonably priced and an INTERMISSION! You can actually chat about the film whilst having a coffee break! Great place.
