The Staff are friendly but the cinema itself needs a major overall! The seats are literally hanging off in screen 2, the floors stick to your feet and the cinema screens really can't handle a fluent 4K motion like most. I hope there are plans being made to upgrade this cinema otherwise many of us will just simply head to the Vue cinema instead. I don't personally want to as here is much more convenient. However....You expect to at least be comfortable whilst watching a movie. But I can't fault the Staff though, they are this cinemas one redeeming quality. I don't want to sound too negative. I just want to see some improvement. To end on a high, the popcorn was great!
Cheap friendly cinema, looking a bit rough on the outside but nice enough inside. Not enough local people using it though, most going to Lancaster which in my opinion has terrible parking and is not as clean. As previous poster said, use it or lose it.
The lady on the reception was lovely. She was very friendly and professional. The cinema 2 was really cold. I watched the film in coat and gloves althought the toilets were warm . We watched 25 minutes of advertising and then the film wouldn't play. So someone went to complain, another film was sourced but we had to watch another 25 minutes of advertising, the film overran and we missed our bus. bank Holiday Monday
Nice cheap price compared to some cinemas. The doors were shut when we arrived for the afternoon performance of Black Adam and we ended up calling to check it was going to be open. This was 20 mins before it started. With 15mins to go they opened and we got our tickets, popcorn and drinks with no hassle. Cinema was clean and the movie is really good. Stay for the end credits!
Came to see a film today with the grand children sadly it was a bit of a let down . Staff were friendly we bought the usual drinks and popcorn etc and sat down to find the coke was flat and warm so we returned them and they were happy to exchange then for something else then during the film what ever heating that was on was switched off and it became quite cold ovall much prefer Vue cinema and can't see us going there again
By far the worst cinema I've ever experienced. The screen was small compared to others I've been to the seats and everything where filthy just an overall bad experience and I will not be visiting again.
Friendly staff, clean and confortable seats, cheap tickets and very quiet, even late afternoon on a Saturday!
The good news is the staff are friendly one star and the sound and film quality was really good one star. The bad news is outside the building looks like its not been open for years as it looks run down, the seats are badly angled so couldn't get comfortable and for some reason it costs more than the Vue cinema so no wonder there was 8 people watching the film.
Should be busier. Only 2 other people at the showing. Staff are great and cinema clean and warm. Use it or lose it. Film was great too.
Best priced cinema anywhere. Clean and tidy and good selection of films
