It's an okay cinema. Your better going to a Vue if it for a really good film that deserves the extra quality in picture, sound and screen size. The bar and restaurant are definitely worth a visit! The whole place is starting to look tired! Could do with a revamp but none of that effects the film's, food or beer being consumed.

Cinema is getting a little tired and shabby, and has (apparently) no air conditioning so the temperature was intensely hot; but those are really the only negatives for this independent cinema. Really nice staff, friendly atmosphere, and good films - nice combinations of modern and classic cinema. It's an experience, better than most chains, if you can stand the heat!

The staff are fantastic. They are friendly and welcoming. The seats in the theatre and cinemas are truly appalling. It's about time they were updated. The cinema seats are particularly bad. It's hard to concentrate on the film and not the the discomfort. If you're going to see something seated in the Malt Room, I would strongly recommend taking a cushion as in there the use fold out chairs that originally had foam padding on (it's all but vanished over the years). The beer is OK. Being called the Brewery, you would expect it to be fantastic, but it is stored in the basement and the main bar is 2 floors above and quite away over. The ail has always been a problem there. After all that complaining I think its a great facility for a small town. Over the years they have had some amazing bands, comedians and theatre shows. There aren't many other places the size of Kendal that have a venue of that caliber. So to sum up - bad seats, good shows, great staff. And here's a tip, only go for the bottled beer.

Average at best depending on what screen you get. Went to see black panther and the refresh rate was horrendous could barely tell what was going on in the fight scenes. Over priced as well £20 for two adults is shocking, especially when better cinemas charge a lot less and my advice bring a cushion cause it gets uncomfortable quickly.

Not the greatest of choice. Sandwich fridge was broken but assured the choices where available. Ordered the veg curry and naan bread. The curry had been heated in the microwave so had pockets of cold and piping hot. Naan bread was stale. Ordered cake and coffee and again carrot cake was not fresh. The chap behind the counter was cheerful but sadly the same could not be said for the blonde young lady who seemed less pleased and less bothered to be there let alone to serve you. Expensive for what you get.
