We came here for our Sunday lunch this afternoon, the roast dinner was lovely! And the kids menu was great, especially with it being a Sunday. The kids enjoyed the play area and the service and the staff was also brilliant. Highly recommend.
Sunday roasts were lovely & highly recommend the lemon curd cheesecake. Could do better on the service though, left waiting a long time to order, extra gravy never came & had to order one round of drinks twice! Also had to track down someone in order to pay.
Sunday roast doesn’t come much better, I’ve tried many a roast in many a Sussex pub and the Roebuck does the best. The staff are great, the venue is welcoming and the ingredients are the finest - plus mostly locally sourced. I highly recommend the Roebuck Inn.
Left another pub down the road as we were disappointed with the menu and lack of service. Came here, massive selection and very surprised at the good prices. I'd highly recommend it.
We've just had a wonderful roast dinner, very relaxed atmosphere and lovely cheerful staff - the best meal out we've had in quite a few months - thank you!
Friendly helpful staff. A decent bed in a warm room with a fantastic bathroom for the price. Breakfast was also decent with friendly a tentative service.
Perfect place to relax by the fire and enjoy a great meal. I'm so impressed with the recent change to quality of the food. Keep it up guys
It was okay. For anyone vegetarian wishing to eat there are only two vegetarian options on the menu. On the day we went they were out of the other option so there was only one thing available that a member of our party could eat. Nowadays with there being so many vegans and vegetarians out there should be more options available on the menu.

I was looking forward to going to the Roebuck with my family for a Sunday roast I can honestly say that it was probably the worst I've had. Instead of roast potatoes I had 2 great big potatoes that looked like jackets. Beef was tough carrots were soggy and couldn't get a knife through the broccoli. When then staff came to collect the plates and asked how the meal was and I said not good, instead of asking what was wrong "oh sorry about that" Would not go back Sorry
