We first stayed in the retunder pod for a few nights in August. Our visit was absolutely fantastic we went back for a couple of nights in October. The pod had everything required for our stay and was super clean. The hot tub made our visit even more special and was always kept extremely clean. The Park and surroundings are so peaceful and quiet. I would definitely recommend this amazing park for some R+R. October certainly won't be our last visit.
My husband and I loved our overnight stay at the Retunder Pod. It was in a beautiful and peaceful location with lots of walks on the doorstep. The pod itself was amazing, it was really clean and had all the facilities we needed, there were even board games provided which was a lovely little touch. The best part was the Retunder Pod had a hot tub. We will definitely stay again.
Just home after a 4 night stay in avant-garde Lodge, amazing trip. The lodge was immaculate when we arrived. If you're looking for totally relaxation then this is the place. Diane is lovely, she kindly gave me something to keep the midges away. Watch our for the sheep if you have a wander they ran towards our dog would definitely stay again
Stayed here whilst attending the 2022 Dirty Reiver just over the border in Kielder Forest. Riverview Park is a lovely quiet holiday park in a stunningly beautiful location. We stayed in the Chatsworth Lodge which was spotlessly clean and modern. The shower was lovely and hot and the beds incredibly comfortable. Diane at reception was very accomodating and helpful., and we would not hesitate recommending the park for a quiet stay away from the hustle and bustle. Newcastleton is literally just down the road with plenty of food and drink options as well as a couple of shops in case you forget anything.
We had a wonderful 2 night stay in this little peaceful haven. The pod was very clean and everything we needed was there. The amazing hot tub was an added bonus of a relaxing weekend away. High recommend.
Me and my partner stayed in the Rotunder pod with the hot tub. Everything was cleaned to a very high standard and the little extras were so good. Perfect little get away for any couple, would definitely, highly recommend this place to anyone. 100% already looking at going back in the summer.

We stayed in this idyllic location for 4 nights, overlooking the river Liddle. The lodge itself is just as lovely as the photos suggest, as is the view, and the managers of the park are really friendly. The place is really scenic and quiet but only about 5 minutes away from the town of Newcastleton, which is very dog friendly and everyone has a smile! Although it's quiet and feels remote, it's only a half hour drive from places like Gretna green and Brampton so there's still lots to do. We will definitely be going back!
If it peace and quiet you look for along with beautiful scenery and a lovely village all in walking distance, then this is the place for you. The park itself is superbly laid out and kept to a very high standard. The local village has many amenities including 3 pubs a couple of cafe/ restaurants, the usual shops , library and a bank, plus the locals are very friendly.
The Chatsworth Lodge we stayed in was so clean and immaculate, the location so peaceful with beautiful scenery, could not ask for a better place for a break, if you are looking for a great place to stay then i would 100% recommend here, many thanks Stephen and Elaine Strong, stayed 20th July to 23rd, FANTASTIC.Rooms: 5/5
